The relaxed riding position with low seat height, pull back bars, and forward “boots in the breeze” controls is comfortable and appealing to a wide range of riders, and their big, torquey, (usually but not exclusively) V-twin engines make them easy and fun to ride while delivering a unique, visceral sound and feel. A cruiser is your bike if you want nothing more than just to enjoy the ride. The cruiser is the quintessential American motorcycle. Harley-Davidson originated the genre and is still the most well-known brand. Japanese manufacturers began building cruiser-type motorcycles in the 1970s and today cruisers are popular all over the world with models being manufactured by British and European firms like Triumph, Ducati, and Moto Guzzi. Whether you’re cruising downtown or taking a trip on the interstate, you’ll always be able to depend on your cruiser bike if it’s properly maintained. Besides the seat, other major factors affecting comfort level are your riding position and wind protection. Feeling the wind in your face is a treasured part of riding, but fighting the wind for hours at highway speeds can be tiring. In addition to shielding you from the wind a windshield will provide protection from insects and other flying debris. We have detachable windshields, replacement windshields, combination windshield/fairings, and windshield mounts. If you’re not happy with the bend of your handlebars or you want to stretch your legs with a set of highway pegs, we can help in those areas and much more. We have bars, risers, grips, levers, pegs, floorboards, and forward controls that can not only improve your fit on the bike but give your bike a style boost as well. As power cruisers have proven, cruiser bikes and performance aren’t mutually exclusive. But you don’t have to buy a new bike to enjoy better performance, we can help make riding more fun when you crack the throttle no matter what you ride. Every cruiser rider wants to hear more rumble and roar than you get with the stock exhaust and we have slip-on mufflers and complete exhaust systems in many styles and finishes for domestic and metric cruisers. Along with that great sound you’re also helping your bike breathe better and you can improve airflow on the intake side with a washable, reusable high-flow air filter or complete air cleaner assembly with an open-element design that will not only increase air volume but also give your bike a stylish appearance upgrade. And if you want even more power we have jet kits, carburetors, tunable fuel control modules, digital ignition modules and high-voltage coils.

Most cruiser bikes, especially older models, can use an upgrade in the lighting department, to improve the rider’s nighttime vision and to make the motorcycle more visible to other motorists for greater safety. If your bike has a replaceable headlight bulb, consider installing one of our LED headlight conversion kits. LEDs produce light that is much brighter, they last longer, draw less current, and are vibration resistant. These bulbs are a plug and play installation, with no rewiring or modifications to your bike required. If your cruiser has a sealed beam headlight you can upgrade to brighter light and awesome looks with a full LED sealed beam headlight. Many of these lights use projector beam technology that produces a sharper, more focused beam of light, and some also have LED accent lights that serve as DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), including eye-catching LED halos.

Some cruisers have passing lamps and we have what you need to upgrade these to LEDs too, and if you don’t have any front lighting besides your headlight, you can supplement its light with our LED fog lights or auxiliary driving lights. They’re sized just right for a motorcycle and can be tucked into recesses in fairings or mounted on forks or highway bars or dedicated light bars.
