Moto-3 Fasthouse Checkers Off-Road Helmet (7109943) by Bell®. Forty years ago, the Bell Moto 3 hit the market and changed the look of off-road racing forever. It is one of the most recognizable and iconic helmets in the history of motorcycling. Offering protection far beyond any prior helmets, looking like nothing else on earth, the Moto-3 was immediately adopted by the sport's most legendary racers and overnight became the benchmark by which all others were measured. To this day it remains a highly sought after collectible, with battered old warriors. The iconic legend has returned! When the original Moto-3 was created back in the late 70s it was a product ahead of its time. Quickly becoming the industry standard in performance and style, today's Moto-3 is everything it was style-wise, with the added benefits of modern saftey and production advancements. From the fiberglass composite shell to the EPS-lined chin bar, Bell left no detail unpolished. The solid colors use the original style terrycloth liner, which is removable and washable.

With the re-release of the Moto 3, Bell scooped up passion and innovation from decades past, incorporated modern materials, state of the art fit and safety standards, and sent this legendary veteran back out into the world for a well-deserved encore performance. Often imitated, never duplicated, Bell offer no apologies for flattening the worn-out used helmet market.
It’s no coincidence that Bell® is both the first name in speed and the first name in helmets. Born in the 1950’s California hot rod and racing scene, Bell founder Roy Richter built an entire industry anticipating the unmet needs of those with a speed-hungry disposition. People wanted to drive fast…he corralled all the go-fast parts he could find into the world’s first speed shop. They wanted to race…he built them race cars. And when the need-for-speed started to reveal some grim realities, Roy did something about that too and Bell Helmets was born.
