The proper operation of any motorcycle greatly depends on various hardware and fasteners. Some of them keep engine parts together, others are used to bolt on the wheels, still others are designed for mounting the brakes, and so on. Most bolts and nuts are ignored, as they are inexpensive and last long enough, but when a rusty thread breaks during regular servicing or engine rebuild, it can be quite challenging to find exactly the same bolt and address the issue. Such a situation is more common for the owners of retro and classic bikes, and Colony is a company that supplies the most accurate restoration hardware to the motorcycle market.
Today, Colony USA belongs to 45" Parts Depot, the company carrying various parts and accessories for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. You can choose from cylinder head studs, nuts, and washers, exhaust port studs, brake caliper mount kits, etc. The assortment is incredibly large and covers even some of the oldest models made before WWII. Meanwhile, most hardware pieces are carefully treated and protected from corrosion; depending on their application, they can be parkerized, zinc-plated, or covered with cadmium, chrome, or other materials. All these products are made to a high standard and provide good fitment.
