This GS-911usb model features a J1962 (OBD-II) connector and is compatible with all newer EU-4 compliant BMW motorcycles with OBD-II connector ports. In addition, when used in conjunction with the female OBD-II Adapter cable this product is also backwards compatible and supports ALL the previous models of BMW motorcycles that have round 10-pin diagnostic connectors. This cost-effective solution is used exclusively in combination with HEX Code Windows PC application via a USB cable.

Adapter Cables

The GS-911 models come with either 10-pin or OBD-II connectors. This development was driven by the new OBD-II diagnostic connectors featured on the newer EU-4 compliant BMW Motorrad models. However, if you need to use your 10-pin GS-911 on a motorcycle with an OBD-II connector, or vice versa, they offer adapter cables which allow you to do just that.

The HEX Code GS-911 Tool for BMW motorcycles for is for monitoring information from the engine and other systems on your fuel injected BMW motorcycle. Your motorcycle is equipped with sophisticated electronics that ensure smooth operation within manufacturer specifications. If you have an indicated malfunction on your dash the GS-911 is able to read and diagnose the issue.
The fault code is stored in your motorcycle's engine control unit (ECU) even if the problem is not present and the GS-911 is able read the information in the code so you are aware there was or still is an issue present. Monitoring information in real time is also possible to determine the status of a system. This diagnostic information allows you to pinpoint a fault so steps can be taken to correct the problem or replace the malfunctioning electronic sensor.
With the GS-911 you can also customize the service reminder to your own personal settings, adjust the way some information is displayed on your dash, and make accommodations for certain operating preferences depending on your model BMW. Give yourself the freedom to maintain your motorcycle without having to schedule a visit to the local dealer. The GS-911 should be in every BMW owner's toolbox!

Absolutely Needed but Very Expensive!
HEX Code® H1-GSF-004 - GS-911WIFI (10-Pin) Diagnostic Tool
If you do your own maintenance on your BMW bike, then this thing is perfect for you. I bought it for my BMW S1000R, and I’m happy with it. It has plenty of features and works just as advertised. I haven’t even tried all the features yet. But with the help of this device I’ve reset the service light and activated the ABS actuator. And what’s most important, this tool easily diagnoses any issues you may have. It comes with detailed instructions, so you can hook it up to your device very quickly. It took me approximately 15 minutes to set it up on my iPhone and Mac. Wi-Fi is definitely a great feature if you’re an Apple user. But it may not work well all the time (that’s the only minor drawback I’ve noticed). The tool is also slightly larger than I expected, but that’s not a big deal because it performs awesome.
