These lights feature amber LEDs. Amber lighting is often used to improve visibility in harsh weather conditions. The glare from blue light is very difficult for the human eye to process. By removing blue from the light spectrum, you'll get reduced glare from snow, rain, fog, and dust, which results in better visibility. This LED light bar has a new strong 2-piece housing that features an improved cooling system. The 2-piece housing is torture tested and approved to deliver the ultimate in durability! With user serviceable mounting hardware, additional mounting bosses on the bottom and an integrated deutsch/amp plug, this new 2-piece housing provides a more reliable sealing surface for your LED light bar. This light provides both spot and flood versions of Rigid Industries patented Hybrid optics system that provides the perfect combination of distance and area. The Hybrid spot optics projects light over great distances in a concentrated beam and is the most powerful spot-style LED light in the industry. This makes it perfect for high speeds and situations where you need extreme distance. The Hybrid flood optics offers just over half the distance of the spot version, providing twice the coverage area.
