Your scooter requires plenty of air to be used as an oxidizer for the gasoline to be ignited in the combustion chamber thus creating the power that propels your scooter forward. Intake parts are absolutely vital for proper operation of your motor, hence maintaining them in perfect working condition is a must. Fortunately, the aftermarket can offer a wide range of replacements. Air filters are designed to clean the oncoming flow from dust, dirt, sand, grit, and bugs. Velocity stacks are fine-tuned components designed to smooth out the incoming flow and make it more consistent.
Pre-filters can be installed over the main filtering media when riding on dusty roads or rocky terrains to prevent rocks, straw, and other rough debris from entering the filter. Reed valves are engineered to ensure a one-way flow to a two-stroke engine by blocking the intake when the flow reverses. Intake manifolds are designed to retain the carb or injectors, snugly holding all of the components in place.
