Once you push down the brake pedal or squeeze the lever to stop your sport or street bike, numerous processes start in its braking system. Different parts must be involved to slow down your motorcycle safely, and they all have to work like clockwork. Brake hoses and lines, in fact, are no less important than other components, as they perform an absolutely critical task of transferring brake fluid between different parts and transmitting the force from the lever to the pads or shoes. Should the lines wear out and start leaking, it is very likely that a motorcycle won’t be able to stop safely anymore.

Unfortunately, brake lines can deteriorate pretty fast. Made from nylon or rubber, they overheat, start cracking, and lose the qualities necessary for reliable operation. Therefore, once you notice any leaks or a mushy feeling in the brake pedal or lever, have these components inspected and replaced if necessary. Take advantage of our assortment of sport and street bike brake lines. We offer the factory rubber components along with their steel braided aftermarket counterparts that will give a more consistent feel in the pedal or lever.
