It is no secret that many motorcycles can run better after some upgrades. Performance air intake, stainless steel or titanium aftermarket exhaust, revised valvetrain, or just enhanced fuel maps – many of these solutions came from the world of superbikes but can be successfully adapted to a cruiser taking its performance to a new level. But in many cases, in order to make these modifications really effective, you will need an aftermarket tuner or programmer to adjust the electronic fuel injection and, sometimes, the ignition system.
